𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗜𝗥) 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

The NIRI National Conference always represents a great opportunity to network with other Investor Relations professionals.

#NIRI2025 certainly did not disappoint from the networking perspective.
Several panels and sessions presented great information on careers, networking, and the never-ending IR job search with insights provided by several high-profile Investor Relations focused executive recruiters, including:

Jessica Henselman – Smooch Unplugged
Kelsey Henderson – High Country Search
Peter McDermott – Korn Ferry

Additionally, both the professional panel presentations as well as evening events held by vendors such as @NYSE and @georgeson, among others, provided further opportunities to connect with other IROs and meet fellow professionals you did not know previously.

One of my major take-aways from #NIRI2025 revolved around shock and surprise that so many people seemed to be looking for opportunities.

Surprised by the number of people searching, and
shocked by certain people who were currently unemployed.

By extension, every IRO excitedly awaits the regular release of the NIRI/Korn Ferry Salary Survey for Investor Relations.

The data no one ever provides revolves around the health and size of the IR job market.

How many jobs are available?

How many opportunities are there in a given month?

How many opportunities are there in a given quarter?

How healthy is the underlying market of opportunity?

In today’s post, I look at the actual health of the IR Job Market. The analysis presented here reflects my study of the Overall IR Job Market (all levels of IR), and the #1 IR Job Market starting in January 2023.
