Investor Relations Officers of all levels continue to face a tough job market.

Anyone actively searching for a role, whether employed or unemployed, believes the market is quite thin regarding opportunities.

The IR Job Market seemed to be a hot topic at the NIRI National Conference in Boston, as many people I spoke with were unemployed, or seeking new opportunities, rather than staying where they are employed.

Today’s presentation provides an update on the IR Job Market for 1Q25.

Overall, the data seems positive and suggests the market opened significantly in 1Q25.

Based on my data, the Trump Tariffs had not yet impacted the IR Job Market in 1Q25.

Our data suggests that Trump Tariffs are impacting the IR Job Market in 2Q25, which we will discuss in our next video.
